Great spot. It's useful in so many ways. The wonderful mix of coffee and alcoholic beverages that make it perfect to visit mid-day or late at night. Close enough to shops and such to be a welcome break spot during a day out, or a relatively relaxed place for wrap-up-the-evening drinks. Board game selection is a good variety (try dixit!) and the bartenders are chill. And the coffee is quality stuff. Had my first undertow here, and I dream of visiting again and having another.

I haven’t eaten the food here but I love getting the Earl grey tea with a shot of almond milk on the side since it is loose leaf. The tea is delicious and I love the artistic atmosphere especially the bound notebooks on the counter with people’s art in it. The bartender is wonderful and nice. I highly recommend visiting if you want to relax with a nice drink and enjoy the atmosphere.

Hidden gem for sure! If you’re wanting great customer service; an inviting atmosphere ; that just happens to be a pizza joint and cafe , welcoming dogs and owners alike. My wife and I stopped by after a nice stroll on the beach. For the price of pizza serving, service, and overall experience, you really can’t beat. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area!

This is an amazing spot with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for studying or getting together with friends. The music is relaxing and creates a great ambiance, while the menu offers a variety of food, drinks, coffee, and teas to enjoy. Open until midnight, it’s an ideal place for night owls or anyone looking for a cozy, productive environment. Whether you’re catching up with friends, working on a project, or studying for exams, this spot provides everything you need to stay comfortable! :)

So much to say! It's a family and pet friendly pub with craft beer, wine and coffee, an art gallery, and a showplace for art activities. Also sponsors a street concert every Wednesday night (originally started during the COVID lockdown, so musicians could safely perform and building residents could attend via their surrounding windows). There's more but I just suggest every visitor to Galveston experience this unique place themselves.

We went to go check out The Galveston Art Walk. The Proletariat is always open with some form of entertainment. They have a selection of beers, wines, a variety of coffee drinks, tea, etc. It's a great place just to come and hang out.
